Vote for my Christmas card entry at Sulit.com.ph and get chance to win Blackberry Curve

I don't know how to start this post. My hands are still trembling in too much excitement.

My dear co-bloggers, friends, visitors, and supporters of my Christmas card entries for Sulit, I am so super, super happy to tell you that five of my entries have made it to the TOP20. Yes, 5 among my 8 entries that I submitted got the lucky slots for TOP20 out of 306 amazing entries in all.

Though I got 5 entries in the TOP20, I am requesting to vote for only one - my ENTRY #71

Here's how to vote for my entry:

1. Go to Sulit.com.ph. Sign in to your account or if you are not a member yet, please sign up.

2. After you have sign in, please click this link:

Vote for Your Favorite Sulit.com.ph Christmas Card Design and get the chance to win the raffle

3. You will see there a series of buttons with corresponding Christmas card entries. Please look and click the button for Christmas Card 71. Then click the VOTE button in the bottom of the entries.


4. Done. Actual designs can be seen below those entry buttons. Or if not appearing, click the View First Post link which you can see in the bottom.


Remember, voting period starts now until December 12th only. Winners will be announced by December 13th. I am requesting to vote for one entry only although I have 5 in a row for the TOP20, so that the votes for my entry will not be divided.

As per mechanics of such contest:

"Note that the entry with the most number of votes does not guarantee that it will be the over- all winner as the voting result has to be computed with the scores from the internal judging."

But still, I want to campaign for my entry to be voted so that there will more chance of winning for my voters for the raffle draw.

It is obvious that those entry cards above are created for web purposes only and not perfect for printing. Yesterday, during our lunch break, I decided to re-design my entry to a very high quality resolution of 2100x1500 pixels, 300dpi to fit for a 5”x7” size card. Since my cards are flexible (yes, they are because I have all the license and original source file of those graphics), I re-design my Entry #71 to fit for 5”x7” and supposedly planned to print at home after work. But unfortunately I run out of printer ink so I rushed to Kodak Express to have this card be printed. And I fell in love with the printing result. My card looks awesome, cute, joyful, and very pleasing.

This card is a real sample print in a 5”x7” glossy photo paper. I did not adjust any brightness or levels after I have captured so that you can see the real one. (click the image to see larger view)

After I returned home, I started to unpack my bag of bling-bling (assorted accessories) because I wanted to do something more creative with my card. With my buttons, ribbons, special papers, double-sided tape, scissor, and cutter, here is what I have now: (Click the image to see larger view)

These are real designed cards. They are hybrid, exactly made by hand with my printed Christmas Card Entry#71. These samples have nothing to do with the ongoing contest because printing resolution is not criteria for judging. Even the number of votes does not guarantee the overall winners, only by these:

Artwork: 50%
Words or textual content: 20%
Originality: 15%
Presentation: 15%
TOTAL = 100%

So it’s up to you now to decide. But of course, I am requesting you to please vote for my Entry #71.
